The Johor Baru Magistrate's Court has granted a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) to a 65-year-old man accused of slapping a youth for eating in public during Ramadan.

Abdul Razak Ismail had initially pleaded guilty to the charge but later disputed the case facts read out to the court.
